  • EMUI 10.1 Update Phones List – 31 Devices Confirmed to get the update

    Chinese leading smartphone vendor named Huawei has launched P40, P40 Pro, P40 Pro+ mobiles phones in the new P40 Series running on EMUI 10.1 version. It’s based on Android 10 and some of the Huawei and Honor phones have already got the update and still the update process continues.

    Google has already rolled out the first two developer previews of the Android 11 version and EMUI 11 is expected to be based on that.

    Before the bigger EMUI 11 comes out, Huawei has planned to introduced EMUI 10.1 update.

    The EMUI 10.1 has many new features and most of them are related to Artificial Intelligence in mobiles. It introduces Huawei MeeTime that supports full HD video calling on Huawei mobiles, tablets, Huawei Vision TV. It delivers great quality even in the low light or weak signals conditions. The users can also share their screen with other parties during the video call and mark-up notes to quickly share thoughts.

According to the tweet, Qualcomm Kona is going to be the upcoming rumored chipset by the company. Further, the tweet says that the next flagship Qualcomm chipset will be powering the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 phone and the Geekbench results are out as well.

    This is the first Snapdragon 865 Geekbench score, single core more than 4,000, multi-core close to 13,000, if no accident, it will be used for Galaxy S11, (early results for reference only, does not represent the final production version of the results)

    The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset will be the powering the most flagship smartphones in 2020.     The first Snapdragon 845 phone is expected to be

    Samsung Galaxy S11which will be unveiled early in 2020, because it has become customary for the South Korean smartphone giant to unveil a flagship S model on the first day of Mobile World Congress 2020 to be held from February 24 to February 27.

    Not only Samsung Snapdragon 865 phone but also there will be several other flagship phones from LG, Huawei, HTC, Sony will be unveiled at the biggest mobile event in the world to be held in Barcelona, Spain.

    And the Chinese smartphone giant like Huawei and Xiaomi are eagerly waiting for the chipset announcement so that they can put a rumor about Huawei Snapdragon 865 phone or Xiaomi Snapdragon 865 phone.

    In the third quarter of 2020, Samsung will also unveil Galaxy Note 11 and Galaxy Note 11 Plus, the phones which are known for performance and speed and Snapdragon 865 could be a true leader in that.

  • Huawei announces in-House Harmony OS – NowIamUpdated

    After US trade ban, the clouds were looming over future of Huawei but they have sorted out the things with Google. But in a sad news to United States and Google, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd has announced a new in-house Harmony OS at Huawei Developer Conference held in Dongguan, China.

    The Huawei Harmony OS takes on Google’s mobile operating system and there is nothing to lose for the Chinese smartphone giant. The announcement was made at the conference by Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group and later it was shared on Huawei Mobile official Twitter account.

    The Harmony OS will be not only available for smartphones but will get extended support for tablet PCs, smart TVs, smart Speakers, smartwatches, smart home, smart cars and lot more.

    Harmony OS is an open source OS and will not allow the root access, which they say is a security risk. Further, Mr.Yu said that you can’t side-load Android apps on Harmony OS.

    Work on the Harmony OS began two years back with version 1.0 and it’s only in 2019 that the work has been accelerated. Huawei says that version 2.0 of its microkernel will be released by early next year while version 3.0 will arrive in 2021.

    As of now, Huawei will stay with Android and slowly will launch smartphones powered by Harmony OS on trial basis.
