    OnePlus team recently unveiled their latest flagship phones like OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro with amazing specifications but some what disappointing users in terms of pricing. Both the latest OnePlus mobile phone runs on Android 10 version out of the box and during the launch itself it was guaranteed to get the Android 11 update.

    Since both the devices are flagship devices of OnePlus, they are front runner when it comes to latest software updates.

    All the OnePlus devices uses a custom skin and they have named it as OxygenOS. It a light weight modification to current stock Android version and this is where the advantage for OnePlus comes in i.e., they have to just wait for source code to be released by Android developers and they have to tweak some settings and then begin the update roll out.

    Currently Android 11 version is in testing phase as the third Developer preview is now available for users on qualifying devices. The new Android version is expected to bring many more changes, most of them borrowed from Apple iOS like the Google Fast Share, an Airdrop like feature for Android.

    From the connectivity front, it will have 4G VoLTE, 3G HSDPA+, Bluetooth v5.0 support aptX & aptX HD & LDAC & AAC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Wi-Fi tether.

According to the tweet, Qualcomm Kona is going to be the upcoming rumored chipset by the company. Further, the tweet says that the next flagship Qualcomm chipset will be powering the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 phone and the Geekbench results are out as well.

    The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset will be the powering the most flagship smartphones in 2020. Most OEM like Samsung, HTC, Xiaomi, LG, Huawei, Poco has used Qualcomm chipset in the past because it provides matchless performance and speed and the trend is most likely to be followed in 2020 as well.

    Here we are not going through the Snapdragon 865 chipset features or benchmarks comparison but we are just going to list the devices will be powered with this upcoming Qualcomm chipset.

    The first Snapdragon 845 phone is expected to be

    Samsung Galaxy S11which will be unveiled early in 2020, because it has become customary for the South Korean smartphone giant to unveil a flagship S model on the first day of Mobile World Congress 2020 to be held from February 24 to February 27.

    Not only Samsung Snapdragon 865 phone but also there will be several other flagship phones from LG, Huawei, HTC, Sony will be unveiled at the biggest mobile event in the world to be held in Barcelona, Spain.

  • OnePlus 7 Android Q Update by Year End – NowIamUpdated

    Android Q is the upcoming Android version and more than consumers OEMs are very much excited about it. HMD Global, the maker of Nokia Android phones has already announced that their product will support up to two years of software upgrades and so does Google which says their Pixel devices will get software support up to three years and two years of security patch updates.

    Android Q will be officially launched in the month of July or August with a name and OnePlus team has always stayed ahead of other manufacturers in terms of software upgrade delivery. OnePlus phones uses OxygenOS which is very close version of pure Android version and that makes software upgrade process faster.

    Among the first and foremost devices in the OnePlus lineup to get the Android Q upgrade are OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.

    Once the official Android Q version is launched, the OnePlus developer team will get the source code and work on a beta build. Once the beta build is rectified with bug fixes and improvements, the final roll out will happen and it will be mostly by the year end. So you can expect the OnePlus 7 Android Q update roll out by December 2019. If there is some problems, then the update will be rolled out by January 2020.

    The Android Q is expected to arrive early for Google Pixel 3a, Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Samsung Galaxy S10 and other devices.
