  • BLU Bold N3 N0070UU Spotted at FCC for Approval


    For BLU Products, the new Bold lineup has certainly done good and the company is looking forward to the third generation of Bold phones series. In the coming days, we could see the launch of the BLU Bold N3 N0070UU mobile phone. The predecessor N2 was launched along with S91 Pro at the same time last year and the first ever N1 was launched in September 2019.

    BLU Products follows what’s the latest in the smartphone industry and for the upcoming Bold phone, i.e., the N3 mobile, there are a lot more improvements in the camera section. Respective manufacturers in China for BLU has come up with camera arrangement in circular manual very much like the OnePlus 11 series, and Nokia 7.2, inspired by the revolutionary OnePlus 7T.

    Here is how the device will look alike from the back –

    Coming to the camera, there is a main camera sensor at the center top and two camera lenses on either side. On top of that, there is a LED flash.

    This Bold phone is a dual SIM handset with 5G support on the SIM 1. According to the FCC listing, the product labeling of the phone reveals that the device carries the model number N0070UU and it’s designed in Miami and assembled in China.

    The power button and Volume Down and Up buttons are located on the right side bezel and these are the only two physical buttons. The device is expected to run on Android 12 or Android 13 out of the box and there will be no firmware upgrade or monthly security updates.

    The device is expected to be priced at $269.99 or $299 and will be available for purchase on the Amazon.com website with an early bird discount on the first day of the launch.

  • BLU F92E 5G F0050UU Spotted at FCC; next BLU 5G Phone


    After BLU F91, the first BLU phone with 5G, the Florida-based company was quick to add another yet another 5G compatible Android phone as they unveiled Bold N2. Now they are ready to unveil the third 5G phone as BLU F92E 5G F0050UU was spotted passing through the mandatory FCC approval process. So here let’s check out what does BLU F92E mobile phone details and specifications know.

    BLU F92E carries the model number F0050UU and the user portal of the device is also available for download in PDF format. The FCC ID is YHLBLUF92E as the device is designed in Miami and Assembled in China. Interestingly this would the second device in the BLU’s F Series mobile phone lineup in the flagship line.

    While passing through the FCC, some of the details of the device were revealed although all the details aren’t available yet. The device carries a 4900 mAh Lithium Polymer battery that is designed to run for at least 2 days on normal usage. The SAR value obtained at FCC testing was 1.6W/kg. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Mediatek MT6365 Octa core processor with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB inbuilt storage. It will carry a 6.8″ full HD display and runs on Android 13 or at least Android 12 out of the box. There is a triple rear camera on the back side that take splendid photos and videos at full HD resolution.

    This is an unlocked mobile phone with dual SIM capabilities and 5G works with GSM networks like T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile & others. Not compatible with AT&T, Cricket, or with CDMA Networks like Verizon, Sprint, and Boost Mobile. It includes the following 5G bands: 5, 41, 71, 77 SA/NSA.


  • BLU Bold N2 and BLU S91 Pro are now FCC Approved


    American-based government-run Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has given a green signal for two new BLU mobile phones. Identified with their names as BLU S91 Pro and Bold N2, these will be the latest smartphones in the BLU brand.

    The BLU Bold N2 will be a successor to the Bold N1 mobile phone which was launched in September 2019 and it will be almost three years since the Samuel Ohev Zion brand was almost forgotten. Actually, the Bold Phone lineup is a sub-brand of BLU Bold Like us and it focuses on the mid to high-range smartphone lineup.

    While passing through FCC, some of the external and internal photos of the device were spotted in the filing. According to external camera photos, the device will have a quad rear camera assembly on the back and this is not the first BLU phone with quad rear cameras as we have already seen it on BLU G91 Pro and BLU F91 5G.

    On the other side, the BLU S91 Pro will be a successor or follow-up model of the BLU S91 mobile which was unveiled earlier this year. It will be just like the BLU G90, BLU G91 and BLU G91 Pro mobile. It will be another $200 mobile phone and both the handsets will be powered by Android 12 out of the box and for sure Android 13 isn’t coming to these handsets.

    For a few years, BLU has been adopting the latest technology as it happens but still, the biggest complaints from customers remain about no software updates. Actually, people are looking for more from the BLU brand on a $100 or $200 mobile phone, and in this range, almost selected phones by Samsung or Nokia or Motorola are covered for major software roll-out.


  • BLU to Launch Bold T5, Bold T5 Plus Mobile Phones; Clears FCC

    The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has certified three new phones of BLU Products. Dubbed as YHLBOLDT5, YHLBOLDT5PLUS, BLUSTX9HD these could well be BLU Studio X9 HD, Bold T5 T0050TT and Bold T5+ T0070TT mobile phones. The BLU Studio X9 HD already was announced on March 25.

    The BOLD N1 is eagerly waiting for its successor, atleast the second mobile phone in the Bold series and we could soon have happy news with Bold T5 and Bold T5 Plus passing through regulatory FCC filing.

    In the FCC filing of both the devices, there is a brief user manual, internal images, external images, user manuals, and test results of the smartphones/devices.

    Once any device is filed at FCC and gets approved, it’s up to the mobile manufacturer to launch the product or not. For most, it’s get launched unless and until there is a big problem.

    As seen in the screenshot, both the device supports B2, B4, B5, B7, B28AB and TDD B38 4G LTE bands which correspond to various telecom operators frequencies in USA.

    The Bold T5 Plus gets a 2400 mAh battery while Bold T5 has 2000 mAh Lithium-ion battery capacity.

    It certainly looks like the latest Bold mobile phone will be launched in the form of Bold T5 and Bold T5 Plus.

  • BLU G9 Pro gets FCC Approval; Launch in USA Imminent soon – NowIamUpdated

    BLU Products, Miami based unlocked smartphone manufacturer in United States has planned to launch BLU G9 Pro smartphone. It was spotted at FCC filing which means that the launch is imminent. Further in the FCC documents there is clear photo of BLU G9 Pro smartphone.

    BLU G9 Pro is the successor to BLU G9 smartphone and FCC reveals more details about the device certification. Once the device is approved by Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the OEM (applicant) has permissions to launch the mobile phone on agreed terms.



    According to filing, the upcoming BLU smartphone has the name G9 Pro clearly written and model number as G0230WW.



    Further in the image of the device on the back we have the name as G9 Pro.

    BLU Products will launch the device within a few days in United States, Canada and Mexico. It will be available for purchase from Amazon. You can check the rumored BLU G9 Pro Specifications here.

    BLU Products in May 2019 unveiled BLU G9 with 6.3 inch display running Mediatek Helio P22 chipset coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage capacity. It has dual rear camera setup and 13 mega pixel front facing camera.

    The device is backed by a 4000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery with quick charge and runs on Android 9.0 Pie version out of the box. It’s priced at $179 and so the BLU G9 Pro price is expected to be less than $300.

    Sony Mobiles is gearing up to launch yet another smartphone in the Xperia series as Xperia 20 gets FCC certified.

    Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is a US telecom ministry and approval of any device by their department means that the applicant has the permissions to launch the device in United States. The device will be launched soon and maybe it will be available through your favourite carrier be it either T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, AT&T or Sprint.

    Going through Sony Xperia 20 specifications, the latest smartphone in the Sony Xperia series and it’s expected to have a 6-inch 21:9 dimension display with 12 MP + 12 MP dual rear camera and will run on Android 9.0 Pie version out of the box.

    Further through several leaks it’s pointed out that it will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with either 4 GB of RAM or 6 GB and 64 GB inbuilt storage.

    The Japanese smartphone giant will launch this device along with Xperia 20 Plus, the bigger brother of it at IFA 2019 in Berlin in September.

  • More than 1000 Android Apps Collects User Data without Permission – NowIamUpdated

    There has been serious issues in the past with apps accessing your location data and other information without permission and yet again there is a new case in which more than 1000 Android apps collects users data without their permission.

    According to reports by Federal Trade Commission (FCC), researchers have discovered that 1325 apps have found ways to get around smartphone users data who have set permissions to OFF status. The study was conducted looking at over 88,000 Android apps and investigated the user settings on how they handle the data permissions on their mobile phones. The study discovered that as many as 1325 apps had code written to take location data from metadata stored in photos, files and Wi-Fi connections. As of now no Android apps names were revealed because they will be revealed next month at Usenix Security conference event from August 14 to August 16th.

    As an example, the report noted that Shutterfly app recorded GPS coordinates of the users from photos and sent that data to its servers although user hasn’t granted the app permission to obtain his location data although it’s spoke-person denied this allegation.

    Among the personal data that can be stolen is the user’s location address obtained when a user is connected to Wi-Fi network. Even some apps developers have found ways to obtain Mac address and also steal handset’s unique IMEI number.
