ICC Men’s Cricket T20 World Cup 2022 will be held in West Indies and several teams will be going through regional qualifiers in 2021. Team USA is ready to compete with regional teams like Canada, Argentina, and Bermuda. The 4 team regional qualifier will be held in October or November 2021 and the schedule of it is already announced. The U19 T20 World Cup 2022 qualifiers (Americas) will be played from August 18 to August 25 this year.
Team USA is prepared for the event as they have announced a squad for the event. The preparation for the event will begin soon with training.

As you see most of the players are of Indian and Pakistan origin. They have come for higher studies or settled here and qualified for the US national cricket team after selection. Players like Sami Aslam, Dane Piedt, Narsingh Deonarine, and Xavier Marshall have already played in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the biggest cricket event, and have now switched to USA Cricket of late.
