OnePlus has launched ‘OnePlus 12’ in a celebration of their 10th Anniversary event in China on 5th December 2024. OnePlus hasn’t yet confirmed the release date but there are rumors it will be released globally by the end of January 2024. The ‘One Plus 12 Series’ is going to rock the market and can be called the best phone OnePlus has ever released and could be on its way to becoming one of the 2024’s best Android phones. Let’s check the reason behind it being so awesome.

The Oneplus mainly focuses on its branding and its classy looks and design but in the new OnePlus 12 mobile, it’s not just the looks but the features are also amazing. From the looks and design, we have a Curved LTPO AMOLED display with a screen size of 6.82 inches, 1440 x 3168 pixels resolution, 510 ppi density, and 91.3% screen-to-body ratio. The screen also gets a 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 4500 nits with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, Gorilla glass protecting the back of the phone too. The OnePlus 12 is made to survive in the toughest conditions with an IP65 rating making it dust and water-resistant atleast this makes it above par with the non-rated iPhone 14 but the latest iPhone 15 is IP 68 rated.

The OnePlus 12 comes with 50W wireless charging as well as 10W reverse charging making it more convenient. With a 5400 mAh dual-cell battery this phone is the largest battery phone from the maker. If you’re running short on time & battery, you can use wired charging of 100W to speed up the charge.

Under the hood, the latest Qualcomm SM8650-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is been installed, running on Android 14 on top of OxygenOS 14 skin. The processor Octa-core 1×3.3 GHz Cortex-X4 & 5×3.2 GHz Cortex-A720 & 2×2.3 GHz Cortex-A520 speeds the performance of the phone and Adreno 750 handles the graphical processing.

For the Camera we have a triple rear Hasselblad-branded Camera setup, at the top we have a 50MP main camera with a 64MP wide angle lens followed by 48MP providing features like Lytia 808 sensor, 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless magnification, IMX581 sensor, Hasselblad Color Calibration, Dual-LED flash, HDR, panorama. The front camera possesses 32 MP with a wide angle feature to take selfies with the whole squad.
