HMD Global announces Nokia 2.3 Mobile Phone with 4000 mAh Battery

HMD Global Oy, the Finnish smartphone maker has officially launched an all-new Nokia 2.3 mobile phone, the latest addition to its entry-level smartphones in the key markets.

Going through the Nokia 2.3 specifications, the latest Nokia Android mobile phone comes with a 6.2 inch 1520 x 720 pixels HD+ display with a 19:9 screen providing 271 PPI pixel density which includes support for Always-ON Display.

The Nokia 2.3 happens to be the successor to Nokia 2.2 mobile phone and the MSP of the device is the 4000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery and the software support which includes planned Android 10 update from the current Android 9.0 Pie.

All the Nokia mobile phones come with two years of software upgrade and this one is no exception and it’s another Android One mobile phone.

Under the hood, the Nokia 2.3 is backed by a 2.0 GHz Quad-core processor with Mediatek Helio P22 chipset with PowerVR GE8320 GPU coupled with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB inbuilt storage capacity.

In terms of camera, the Nokia 2.2 follow-up model comes with a dual rear camera setup with 13 mega pixel (f/2.2 aperture) + 2 mega pixel image sensor and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.

From the connectivity front, it has 4G VoLTE, 3G HSDPA+, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Wi-Fi tether. The device has 157.7 x 75.4 x 8.7 mm as dimensions and weighs 183 grams.

The Nokia 2.3 price in USA is said to be $122 and 110 Euros in Europe. It will soon launch in India but the price is not yet revealed. It’s available in Cyan Green, Sand, Charcoal color variants.
