GAMAKOO G14 Pro is a $125 iPhone Rip-Off

GAMAKOO G14 Pro mobile phone

GAMAKOO has copied iPhone design to increase their sale but I think this move could backfire for them. No one likes a copied device even if it is of the Apple iPhone. If we ignore that fact and look at other features and specifications I think it’s a good phone at this price. Let’s see what we get out of the GAMAKOO G14 Pro.

There are two things I like about this phone, firstly the display size of 6.7 inches which is an HD+ DotDrop display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Even if the design is copied the size is still great. With 6.7 inches of display, you can binge-watch your favorite shows in HD or play games in a comfortable space. And for people who complain about the small display size of the iPhone, that won’t be a problem here, you get an iPhone design with a large display at a low price, which is a plus point of this phone.

Secondly, the massive battery capacity of 5000 mAh keeps you going all day, you don’t have to worry about charging your phone every few hours or carry a power bank everywhere with you. It’s very rare for a phone to be this cheap and get a 5000 mAh battery size.

The other specifications are also okay if not bad. Such as, you get a 16 MP Rear camera and 8MP front camera with features like fast focusing, Anti-shake, adopt dual-core sensor, AI backlight photo, post-quick double-shot, and image Rubik’s cube technology. Even if the Mega Pixels are less still the camera quality is good to take clear pictures. There are good reviews to be heard on the camera quality.

The GAMAKOO G14 Pro offers a Helio 690 chipset with 8 core Octa-Core Processor with a promise of reducing the probability of stagnation, and crashes, improved network speed, frame rate, and more. It all depends on how it works in the long term, that is the most important thing. The real test of a phone starts after a couple of years have passed.

With 4 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128 GB, you can store many important documents and apps, if that is not enough you can add an SD card. But adding an SD card can slow down your phone so I don’t recommend it. Besides, I think 128 GB is enough space if used smartly. The device runs on a very old Android 10 which can be let down, atleast Android 13 would have been a great addition.

As for the network and connections, you get Dual SIM support, GSM, and WCDMA network compatibility, both SIM slots are compatible with 4G Simultaneously. NFC is not supported which is a letdown, 5G is not supported, FM is there, 5V2A charger, USB type-C, and GPS are supported, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Oukitel Massive 11000 mAh battery Phone

There are many good points as well as drawbacks of this ‘GAMAKOO G14 Pro’. Hope you have decided on buying the phone or not after reading this. It’s available for purchase on Amazon.com at $125.
