Cricket Wireless has added a monstrous 6000 mAh battery smartphone targeting those customers who are using their mobile phones for more than 6-8 hours per day. Dubbed Cricket Outlast, the device takes on many of the mid-range handsets and answers key complaint issues like battery life, software support, camera, and extended warranty period.
Before the clock ticks to 2024, looks like Cricket Wireless is in the race to achieve something big as they have announced the addition of many new smartphones like Icon 4, Magic 5, Debut S2, and Ovation 3 in this quarter itself. Maybe they are targeting the holiday season sale with Christmas and New Year’s Eve around.
Quickly going through the Cricket Outlast specifications, it comes with a beautiful 6.8″ display with HD+ resolution and DTS surround sound takes the movie and video-watching experience to the next level because you don’t have to decrease brightness or pause your entertainment on the go thanks to gigantic battery size. The display screen has a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
Another interesting point to look at is the addition of a 50-megapixel triple rear camera which combines with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel snapper. There is an 8-megapixel camera lens on the front side as well for selfies and video calling. It runs on Android 13 out of the box and if there is an Android 14 update, it would be well and good, although people wouldn’t complain running on Android 13 OS.
Under the hood, it’s powered by an Octa-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB inbuilt storage capacity. It has a micro SD card slot supporting expansion up to 512 GB using a memory card but I wouldn’t recommend it adding because it may slow down your device.
These new Cricket Wireless smartphones take on the mid-range smartphone offering by both Samsung and Nokia mobile phones.
The Cricket Outlast can be a gaming phone too because it houses a massive 6000 mAh battery that gives extended battery life in comparison with other mobile phones. It also includes 18W fast charging support and M4/T4 hearing aid compatibility.
Cricket Wireless is offering extended warranty and support to this device by 2 years from the date of purchase as it’s backed by Cricket 2-year Worry-Free warranty.
