

HMD Global Oy, the new address of Nokia brand which makes Android mobile phones, a shift from Microsoft phones(a big mistake), has announced a new HMD Vibe phone. It’s an entry level phone priced at $149.99 and runs on Android 14 operating system out of the box.
The latest HMD Vibe brings out new vibes in entry level Android smartphones that’s compatible with Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and other MVNO networks in the United States. Networks such as Simple Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile, TracFone & others.
Going through the HMD Vibe specifications, which is nothing much to talk about except regularly seen 6.56 inches display with 90 Hz HD+ resolution but gets toughened glass protection. For those who want details display parameter, the resolution is 720 x 1480 pixels, with 18.5:9 aspect ratio with ~251 PPI pixel density.
Under the hood, it’s powered by Octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 processor with Adreno 610 GPU handling the graphics processing, coupled with 3 GB RAM and 3 GB virtual memory and 128 GB inbuilt storage capacity.
Coming to the camera-specs, it has a dual rear camera setup with 13 mega pixel autofocus + 2 mega pixel depth sensors capable of recording 1080 pixels videos at 30 frames per second and there is 5 mega pixel front facing snapper for selfies and group video calling.
It runs on 4000 mAh Lithium ion Polymer battery that provides 2 days battery life on normal usage. It’s only available in the Charcoal color variant.
